Inspired by the desire to represent sealife "in the wild," our series touches on many types of beloved and sometimes endangered animals that we don't see regularly in our daily lives. Through this series, we hope you can add this little bit of wildness to your homes and appreciate the impressionist beauty they offer. The Sealife "in the wild" includes Lobsters, Green Sea Turtles, and Crabs.

We make all aspects of this Lobster art by hand. We start with a drawing of the carving detailing the shape of the wood background. The background and solid lobsters are then painted by hand with acrylic water-based paint. Once dry, we rub our desired accent colors into the lines to make each creature pop against its background. Last, multiple layers of paint are built up to recreate the effect of the lobsters underwater. Once complete, we hand-build a rustic reclaimed wood frame and attach it to the background. Each framed painting includes picture wire on the back for quick and easy hanging on any wall.
