Dr. Diggs, a pillar of the New Orleans and Mid-City communities, sought to refresh his practice’s brand and aesthetics. Haven America was brought in on this exciting project to revitalize his new clinic from the outside in. Located prominently on the corner of Orleans Ave and White St, the clinic’s location was key to our design strategy. We aimed to create a strong visual presence that would draw attention to this newly invigorated space.

The interior design concept centered on a clean, modern, and state-of-the-art aesthetic, reflecting the high-quality care provided by Dr. Diggs and his staff. We incorporated bright colors and reflective, high-gloss materials to create an atmosphere that is both professional and modern. The goal was to inspire confidence in the clinic’s cutting-edge facilities while also delighting clients with an aesthetically pleasing environment.

Can’t express it enough—when you meet a client and instantly see their energy, you can create something that feels just like them. For Dr. Diggs and his All-Star Animal Clinic, this piece fit the place —cool and diverse as he is —layers of acrylic glow like neon. The words express the clinic environment, a little loud, with barking dogs, cats, and people with pets. It is as vibrant as the space itself.

When we first walked the clinic, it was under construction—but could already see the treatment rooms, tables, and equipment, and remember the feeling of waiting with my own pets. I wanted to make his clients smile. A mix of contemporary pet art—fine art for fine pets that invites.

Yarn Kitty was born from irony—a cat made of the very thing it loves most. It’s playful, clever, and just a little mischievous. In a vet’s office, it says everything without words: the cats here can’t chase the yarn, but their spirit still fills the room. It’s humor, tenderness, and art rolled into one tangled thread.

Anytime you get to work with a client who makes you happy, it’s a true gift. Then, as the artists, you get to make others happy with your work—that’s a real WOW. But walking into the space you designed and seeing it alive with the staff and clients you created it for—and they are celebrating you is something you can never imagine!
