This is our modern twist on a Barn Star, often seen on older barns in the Pennsylvania area. However, there is a long history of them in the Richmond, Virginia area, pre-civil war, on large buildings and factories.
Size: 25" W x 25" H x .75" D
They are often thought to be just aesthetically pleasing or decorative, but many were symbols for the builder or akin to good luck symbols, like a horseshoe.
Our modern, five-pointed Barn Star is an assemblage of five color pallet stripes of your choice, hand-cut from Southern pine plywood. Then, it is finished and distressed. The colors shown in this listing star are Gulf Blue, Oyster White, Barnwood Red, Florida Orange, and Key Lime Green. You can choose from any of our 27 colors, plus three distressed metallics, to make your own color creation.

Since migrating South to New Orleans, we are seein' gators everywhere, y'all. Here's a tribute to our little swamp buddies!

This smiling Alligator Head has an eternal, toothy grin on his face and an up-all-night look in his beady eyes. This head design is the actual head from the gator that hangs over our woodshop in Uptown New Orleans. The piece arrives unassembled and in two parts, head, and plaque.
The plaque and head have two pre-drilled holes for screws (included) to attach to the head.
The plaque has a keyhole in the back for quick and easy hanging.

Our wooden alligator cutout is friendly and kind and will not bite, we promise! Handcrafted from 1/2" Southern pine plywood, this large gator measures 37" long.
