Sailors Love Token— Back in the day wheelmen would be out at sea for long periods of time, often pining for their loved ones at home. This is an inspired “Love Token” from a sailor at sea. This large scale makes a uniquely nautical piece for the seaside home. This is a grand scale silkscreen print on wood which is all hand distressed and finished for a lovely rustic feel.

How many times has your mother said, "Don't Run with Scissors". But really an antique trade sign is what inspired this extra-large pair of scissors to be created. Hand-cut, the two parts of the oversized scissors are attached with an actual screw in the center. This allows them to open and close like real scissors. They are finished on both sides, in Metallic Silver and Cast Iron Black, but you can request a pair in any one or two color combinations.

Has a distressed aged feel. Display standing, propped up against the wall or hanging from one of the handle loops. Perfect for the sewing room, studio, kitchen, or office. Makes a swell gift for the artist or crafter in your life.

"You're gonna need a bigger boat!", one of my favorite lines from my favorite movie, JAWS. While in the movie it was a Great White Shark, I personally loved the Mako shark art for this assemblage.
