We have been enjoying this great dog breed lately. Locally, we have a pair of Frenchies that live down the street from our studio and we love passing by when they are out for a quick pet! They are a charming and gentle breed that we have fallen in love with (almost as much as our pugs, but not quite).

Like "shug," darlin' is another sweet little name for that special Southern someone in your neck of the woods. I typically use it in sentences when I need to tell the "Mrs." about something rather unpleasant; to sugar-coat it. For example: "Ummm, darlin', I just dropped the antique china you bought last weekend at the flea market" or "No, darlin, I haven't gotten around to that garage cleaning yet!"
