Our very popular Rustic Minnow School is now a Funky Minnow Fish Art! We call it a "Fish School Art Block," and it can now have a place in your home. It's off the wall-- literally! This funky fish sculpture is part of our Home Collection.

All handcrafted, these fish featured here stand on a long, rustic piece of reclaimed wood. Nine wooden Minnow Fish make up this movable sculpture. Raw steel rod supports each fish and allows you to assemble and configure them in different and fun ways. These wooden fish ARE movable on the rods and are finished on both sides for all-around display. Have fun playing with them and pointing them in the "right" direction. It is shown here in our "Oyster White" distressed paint finish. The wooden base of this piece is a plank of reclaimed wood. It's old wood, very rough, and is in its natural color as found. This listing is for a Custom Lettering Add-On for a medium to large sign. Folks are always asking us if we could write something special on their sign, like the pictures shown here. You can add type or lettering to what ever sign you are ordering by simply adding this listing to your order.

Lettering is custom set and painted onto your sign in the type style shown. Lettering is also distressed and worn, just like all of our signs. Results on distressing vary from piece to piece, no two are alike. Look depends on texture of wood.

When I was in high school, much of Jaws II was filmed near my hometown on Pensacola Beach. I remember driving over there a few times during and after the filming and seeing the row of colorful beach tents and the fake lighthouse built on the rocks down by Ft. Pickens. The mechanical great white shark was sighted many times by local radio personalities as it was moved around from site to site for shooting. Here's my tribute to the Great White Shark.

This framed lighthouse makes a bold statement. This design was inspired by the Bodie Island Lighthouse that stands on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The lighthouse is made from a reclaimed fence post that came from a farm in Illinois near Chicago.

This bold, striped lighthouse overlooks the Atlantic Ocean with a white sailboat passing in the background. It's finished in our signature Haven America rustic finish and has a wire in the back, ready for hanging. It's framed with reclaimed lath wood that is also salvaged from old homes.

This piece features a quote from the Try Works Chapter of Herman Melville's Moby Dick. It speaks to the grittiness of life on board the ship, the only warmth given off by the works, as the winds howled, the blackness of the sea and night closed in,  

We select strong, meaningful quotes for all the Book Plates, you will find yourself reading them over and over. The entire collection of quote consists of nine. Such a great piece of literature to bring into your decor. It is the perfect fit obviously for nautical decor, but also for the literature lover.

Each bookplate is handcrafted. We print each on hand-painted wood, which is printed then with UV inks. Framed in beautiful reclaimed wood lath.
