Originally bred in Germany for herding sheep in the 1800s, the German Shepherd (Deutscher Schaferhund) is the second most popular K-9 in the United States.

This would make a great gift for the Soldier or Law Enforcement professional in your life that works with these hard-working animals.

Hand cut from southern pine plywood, and finished with an antique glazing (for a distressed, rustic feel), it's available in any color from my color palette (see last picture).
