This portrait of our beloved New Orleans musical legend was carved at our Uptown studio by artist Gregory Morris and krew of woodworking masters. The surface has a hand painted paint finish applied in black. Mr Armstrong is then carved into the wood exposing the wood's raw natural tones. Then its finished off by framing with a handsome reclaimed 100+-year-old wood that we leave natural. The exposed carving will patina and get darker with age.
